Textile Technologies offer four ranges of silicone coated glass cloth each with unique characteristics.
Silicone Coated Glass Cloths are made utilising base glass fabric weights of 200gm/m², 400 gm/m², 600 gm/m². 860gm/m² and 1050gm /m². These fabrics can have a coating weight of between 30 and 400gm/m² of silicone per side, generally speaking and are available in a range of colours.
These fabrics are most commonly used for general industrial insulation jackets and tend to be the most economical. Silicone Polymer rated to 230ºC.
TRI-SIL Glass Cloth are premium grade silicone coated glass cloths that display superior waterproof characteristics, Oil and Fire Resistance. TRI-SIL fabrics characteristically have an aesthetically pleasing and visually bright finish with some reflective properties. Silicone rated to 280ºC.
STEELSHIELD-PRO is a premium grade two layer composite fabric consisting of a weather resistant outer layer of silicone coated glass cloth laminated to stainless steel foil laminated glass cloth.
SUPERSIL Glass Cloth is coated with a heavy weight specially formulated red oxide silicone rubber (Supersil) which has an elevated temperature resistance to 260°C. The heavy weight red oxide coating serves as an excellent barrier to molten splash.
